There have been documented cases of anemia, chest pain, hallucinations/delusions, hypomania, impaired speech, muscle twitches and increased urinary frequency as a result of Trazodone usage.

There have been concerns about the increased risk of suicide in patients that take Prozac, another popular antidepressant. Some researchers believe antidepressants may increase suicidal tendencies in those contemplating suicide. Still others believe that Trazodone and other antidepressants may spur suicidal thoughts in those that did not contemplate suicide previously.
